I really love the food in Oklahoma City.

Gia Hoi Baguette is probably my favorite restaurant that I have tried so far. They have a bunch of different bahn mi sandwich for around $6. I have been living of them.๐Ÿคฃ

This is grilled pork with rice. It comes with a big pile of vegetables that have been pickled in a sweet vinegar, and it is so delicious!

Around $16 if an egg roll.

10/10 I highly recommend.

Sid's Diner has been on a bunch of TV shows including Man vs. Food. The owner of the restaurant was personally running the grill.

Onion burgers were invented here at Sid's Diner during WW2 as a way of stretching limited meat rations.

The patties are around half grilled onions and half ground beef, and they are made by smashing a half cooked burger into a mound of onions of the grill.

I finished the one pounder. With fires and a Pepsi, it was $22.15.

I am out on Route 66 at Sid's diner in El Reno today trying to find the best onion burger in Oklahoma. I love the small town vibe and the veteran appreciation wall, and I can't wait to try the burgers...

I sat down at the couner, and the big guy sitting next to me said, "are you a miltary guy? You look like a military guy."

I said, "I am an Air Force vetern."

He said, "order the double king onion burger if you're hungry."

So I ordered a double king burger, fries, and a Pepsi.
