It's possible though they'd need to change the current code to hard fork. As it stands, I'd expect them to fork off to a DOA chain that doesn't produce blocks and thus doesn't have claimable fork coins.

Losses on paper are temporary. You lose money when you panic sell. Bitcoin will eventually go back to its ATH. But probably not this year. Who cares? Just HODL

I was on the side of Luke Dashjr. USAF BIP-148. Segwit. The backwards compatible soft fork. The side that won. I did get a bunch of btrash and sold it for bitcoin. Actually made quite a lot of money in the aftermath. Question is, what happens this time? UASF BIP-110
