In general, creating a burner email account and using it to leak stuff to me is actually very safe.

My server is self-hosted, is full disk encrypted, uses cross-jurisdictional shenanigans to make subpoenas difficult, and if you leak anything to me that is relevant to my interests I will delete the logs of where it came from and have the technical skills required to sanitize documents.

This is not just about lawyers, but anyone with access to documentation around decision-making regarding human rights at organizations, or who has damaging information on anti-trans extremists can do the world a favor.

Update on my legal case: The European Court of Human Rights has accepted the filing of my claim against the UK.

This mainly procedural - confirmation that the claim was filed on time, complete, and compliant with the rules.

The next step will be a judicial review to confirm admissibility, but I have no idea how long of a queue there is for that. Assuming it's admissible, a hearing will then be allocated.

I killed time on my flight by playing "Hold 'Em Poker ©2008 Global Eagle" on the in-flight entire system. They start you with ¤5,000 in chips.

Eventually I figured out that I could set the tournament mode to increase the blinds (eventually adding antes) every 60 seconds, and then just raise aggressively and steal the pot ~90% of hands without having to show my hole cards.

Oddly, the AI players are much more prone to bluffing at lower stakes, so this game actually gets easier as it progresses.
