I continue to try to win people over from the "indifferent" camp to the "anti spam" camp. I think if there is more support for the anti-spam position in the future, a soft fork similar to bip110 could...

I would love if there was an anti-spam measure that does not take away from decentralization and censorship-resistance. But I have yet to see one, apart from the fee-system that we already have in bitcoin. I have very low hopes of something better being invented. But I will keep my eyes peeled.
Happy to hear that you are anti-bip110, because that is a nasty piece of work :-)
I am just afraid that people will see a weak anti-csam effort as being more important than decentralization/anticensorship, and be lead astray.

Bitcoin Core developer finds fatal consensus flaw in Knots BIP-110 implementation. As I've been saying for months, it's Knot a serious project. https://github.com/bitcoinknots/bitcoin/pull/238#issue...

Bugs in code happen. That in itself does not signal a lack of seriousness.
But if Knots does not get more developers and a more structured development process then it most certainly signals a lack of seriousness!

I should be clear here, I don't follow Knots to any degree at all, so maybe the process and devcount is changing in a good way.

Create a new BIP then. Be proactive, show them how to do it.

But it is also super energy efficient. Features that do not contribute to survival are dropped pretty quickly. And since this is an almost universa humanl feature it must have contributed to our survival at some point.
But it may also be some other system inour brains that is misfiring, but is not dangerous for us, so there has been no pressure to drop it.

yes!! as long as its not super dangerous it will stay like that nd then you wonder: evolution, whats going on :D but weird sounds are alarming tho

Sorry, but I see it differently. Currently there is a huge hole in doors that some can take a dump through easily. We will make it a thin letter box slot.

I have not checked that site or their facts, though. Just not invested enough 🙄

So many people want there to be a really dirty Trump Epstein connection, me included, that we really want to believe these things.

I do think that Trump is a despicable human being, but maybe he did his stuff without letting Epstein get proof...

I put it on its own subnet and am only giving it its own accounts and doing project work that wouldn’t be a complete disaster if it all got publicized. Assuming basically no security but still being careful!
