chokepoints like kyc/aml on a lot of serivces. we use to use spritz finance for paying bills. but they started using persona and it killed that for us. tried another method. zypto. have to dl their wallet, but bill pay also required kyc/aml. persona... that's friction. resorted to p2p trades. person pays our bill we pay them bitcoin. lotta begging. not fun. don't want to strike or cashapp. but leaning that way. bank accounts looking like a solution... going backwards.

we travel a lot. use to get gift cards and debit cards. debit card started limiting amounts. we found travala. it works.

we use to do just about 90% of our life with bitcoin. when we live out of the US, it's doable. just go to countries where its more accepted. but in the US... seems like all it's good for is hodlin' or spookin' normies.

and yeah, merchant adoption... friction everywhere.

being a creative centralized systems work better. less friction. tradeoffs that everything gets muddy. compartmentalizing work and personal. devices for each. my inner minimalist screams even though everythings earning its place. thats the other tradeoff.

This is my first experience with plebeian market and I gotta say it was a little rough. Makes me sad - there are at least two other people in this thread trying to go to your listing and having issues. Hopefully they follow through.

living on bitcoin. haven't written in a while. just got nothing to say. nothing to really share. very niche readership. to be honest it all changed after i finished writing the book. felt like i said all i needed to say. and that was that. the book hasn't sold yet. it's actually quite hard to sell considering its only available on plebeian market.
but why not use another platform?
i would if i had a bank account.
maybe its time to get one and join the rest of the world.
have a book signing at a local book store. it'll be my first time doing something like that. meet people. share the story. almost got the store to take bitcoin.
it all takes time. the words physical though. outside of me. lives on paper.
we'll see.

As much as I want bitcoin to succeed, more than almost anything in my life, part of the premise was to give people optionality. Not having a bank account is pretty badass, but the limitations are very real.
