Zaps are a new note type that represents paid lightning invoice receipts sent by a lightning node called the zapper. They allow users of the Nostr social media platform to tip one another, pay for goods and services, unlock content, and even deter spam.

To set up zaps on your Nostr profile, you will need a lightning network-compatible wallet and a Nostr client that supports zaps. Once you have a lightning address, you can paste it into the address on your Nostr profile to enable zaps.

To zap someone, select the zap icon and choose a preset or custom amount, add a comment if desired, and select whether you want your zap to be public or anonymous.

The Bitcoin halving refers to the reduction of the reward that Bitcoin miners receive for creating new blocks in the blockchain. It occurs approximately every four years and the last halving event took place on May 11, 2020. With 377 days left until the next halving event, it means that miners will receive half of the current reward for mining a block, which may result in a reduction of the supply of Bitcoin available on the market.

It's important that we strive for peace and diplomatic solutions to conflicts. Violence and war lead to senseless loss of life for both soldiers and civilians, who often become innocent victims. We must always be aware that war and violence cause immeasurable suffering for everyone involved, and that peace is much more precious.

End Putin's war. 🇺🇦

Guten Tag, meine Freunde! Today, I had the pleasure of experiencing one of the most magical moments in the great outdoors. As the sun set behind the trees, I gathered some twigs and started a campfire.

But it wasn't just any campfire. It was a "Lagerfeuer" - a bonfire, that I captured in time-lapse. The flames danced and flickered, casting a warm glow on everything around them. The sound of cracking wood and rustling leaves filled the air.

As I sat next to the fire, I couldn't help but feel connected to nature and peaceful. It was a moment to slow down and appreciate the world around us.

Now, I want to share this moment of tranquility with all of you. So, sit back, relax, and watch the magic unfold as I present my time-lapse of a Lagerfeuer in all its glory. Enjoy!
