On the ground here in Kenya 🇰🇪 no one cares about the price. Everyone we have on-boarded onto @Tando.me and any #bitcoin #lightning wallet such as @Wallet of Satoshi being the easiest option for beginners (though we advice to move early to self custodial @Phoenix Wallet ) is unconcerned about bitcoin price. They want to learn how to get paid in bitcoin and how to instantly convert into local currency they spend immediately. Here the need is to feed everyday the family. The western meme "numbers go up" or the store of value property is not the primary driver of bitcoin adoption. Here lightning and #tando remove the friction of fiat. Tried to provide some capital to a small business by sending an unbanked/unbankable person some #dollar or #euro in #africa? Try, then you will understand the power of bitcoin that everyone in the rich west misses. Here bitcoin is empowerment for the weakest. It can really change Africa's future. Read this

Indeed. WE increase adoption by using #bitcoin as money everyday while @Michael Saylor Strategy increases financialization of bitcoin. Of course Saylor does a great job for bitcoin as a store of value (and both are necessary) but without everyday use there is no adoption. I just wish @Michael Saylor to acknowledge that and support us who do the hard adoption/orange pilling work from the bottom up. Very true it is the daily use case and the frictionless operation of #bitcoin with different local digital cash app such as @Tando.me that makes it compelling. We experienced it first hand in #kenya by supporting local people. They are not only unbanked, they are UNBANKABLE. With fiat you have no way to donate to local needing people. Youn need a company, an ONG, bank accounts, it makes it impossible to help on a small scale. Fore them bitcoin is a life saver, for us bitcoin is limitless power, the opportunity to make the difference in one's life with even only the equivalent of US$ 10 which can feed a family for a week. We can all help with small sums, sats make the difference, we do not need fucking parasitic, power hungry billionaires.
