@nprofile1q... ooh I didn't know about this L M Montgomery book. Fascinating!

This might be a nosy question to ask, and if it is, I apologize, feel free to not answer it,

but gutenberg doesn't (directly) do audiobooks afaik (I know there's librivox but idk if they're technically related projects). Are you having your device read the book to you, or is this one of those braille e-readers I've heard about?

@nprofile1q... Yes that is why I think. I'm glad you're satisfied with the books because ngl I would have judged you (as I would judge everyone even pirates) if you were like "I gotta watch the new take on Harry Potter!"

She has made it very clear that she is making the new series to spite the trio of lead actors who are openly anti-transphobia (but get royalties if you watch those movies or buy merch with their faces on it!!!).

Besides I'd much rather read far better Fanfiction anyway. I wonder if any studies have been done about that, where Fanfiction is more popular than the actual IP? But also, I really don't need to see an extended ending sequence of Harry basically in the Wizard cop uniform. LMAO! nostr:nprofile1qy2hw...

So you all know I use piracy websites like a catalog I browse and then place the books on hold at the library because I'd rather wait on hold 100 days then use a shitty torrent client, but the number ...

@nprofile1q... lmao.

I mean I support pirating her (and Gaiman's) stuff as opposed to buying it but yeah I do worry about free press.

Like I genuinely hope no one pirates her TV series in the sense that no one watches it. That one would definitely be free press.

Gonna do this as an image (also available as alt-text, though I did have to edit it a bit to make it fit thanks website boy) As a reminder, this is NOT an exhaustive list.

If you are on any of these meds
1- Make sure you take extra good care of yourself in the summer / hot days (Hydrating, providing shade, cooling off)
2- Speaking from experience, if you are in STABLE mental health, you may be able to lower your dose of a med to tolerate summer better. It worked great for me last summer (though there were still really hot days) and we're trying it again this summer.

I really must stress, in the face of climate change, people who are on medications like this (And don't have the luxury of quitting them) need to understand there are ways of coping (see above)

I probably don't need to state this but just in case: if you see a med you're on on this list, don't just quit it cold-turkey. That's a horrible idea. Talk to your provider, get their okay, and their plan for TAPERING you off it.
