Hydration break is the big test for the USMNT. Kind of been lost in the discourse, but the US was pretty damn good the first 25 mins vs. both Belgium and Portugal. But both those teams made adjustments at the break, Poch didn't, and the US subsequently got smoked.

That said, when we’re talking about the great clubs of Europe or South America, we’re at least talking about clubs that have spent generations earning their local bona fides before becoming pure branding exercises/commodities. MLS clubs have largely skipped that step.

Once he had more budget & flexibility to make more (ostensibly more ambitious) signings, I feel like he lost some of the scrappiness that made his teams great in the first place.

Sporting, in 2013, couldn't show you the shark til halfway through the movie. In 2024 you saw it in the first 5 minutes.

I love Firefly (and Serenity) so much and do not want another season of it.

Would, however, love for someone to noodle around in that world w/ a new cast & stories, and maybe for River to be a recurring character in them.
