Yeah try to harden them off for a few hours each day for a week before transplanting. Another trick is to start the seeds in the soil you’re going to transplant them into. Then they are used to that nutrient density / ph and don’t miss a beat when you transplant them in ground.

Were your starts exposed to sunlight before planting? Are you in a place with intense sun?

Likely ph stress but it could be a number of things. Soil too saturated for too long. Soil has too high nutrient content. Light may be too intense causing light stress. Tell me more about the situation and I’ll see if I can narrow it down.

All the legs have a hand shaved dowel holding them in place, with hammer in fitment there is little to no play in any of the legs. Looks awesome. I made a similar stool with scrap wood. We call it the ugly stool. (Yours looks much nicer). But everyone sits on it every morning to put their shoes on regardless of what it looks like. So I call it a win!
