The narratives are excellent actually... (buy iphone every 6 months and you'll feel much better, dont think too much, pain can be sorted with pills and grog, the gov will save you if shit gets bad, work hard and you'll be rewarded, look at these beautiful and succesful people who are achieving all the things you want to achieve, your water is clean and netflix is cheap), all backed by the alternative which is a cage enforced by a gun. Oh, and they have the mechanisms to rinse and repeat this through education and media.

Isn't the whole point the bitcoin benefits humans though? And don't humans decide the protocol? So would we (miners included) mine something that doesn't benefit us? Probably. Also, I'm retarded so I don't REALLY understand your point. What's an inference-coin?
