Been there recently. There is no such thing as a widespread social credit score in China and its limited experimentations were quite a failure as I heard there.
Yes, cctv surveillance is everywhere. Yes freedom of expression in public is very limited (not in private though).
Yes it has a uniquely annoying paternalistic confucian and authoritarian style of government, but one which raised hundreds of millions of people from total misery in few decades, guaranted constant political stability and above all peace, increased every possible health, education and welfare metrics, turned the country into the world's industrial superpower by a large margin, built impressive and uncountable infrastructures inside the country and abroad, developed incredible technologies in every possible industry, sent men to space.
Sure Chinese system has many flaws, but if you take everything into account and compare it to the West, the result is abysmally embarassing for us. Really.
Collectively we are a fraction of Chinese population, were incredibly richer, more advanced and more powerful, but in the same time we managed to start wars everywhere in the planet, largely deindustrialize, increase poverty and economic polarization in our countries, let crime, drugs and uncontrolled immigration go rampant, restrict our civil liberties, expand our deficits, destroy our welfare, diluite our common cultural heritage and decrease education standards.
So many accomplishments to be proud, all while teaching lessons to the rest of the world (and to China) about our superior "values" and model.
We are represented by NATO warmongers, Palantir's satanists, ICE squadrists, Epstein's Cultists and
deranged psychos in visible power positions like Madman Trump, Genocide Bibi, Pedo Starmer, Von Der Hitler, Kaya KallaSS, Narcofuhrer, Lich Mertz, Little Napoleon Macron, etc..
