@nprofile1q... it's still one of the most used game engine in Steam, however it might have plateau, but I think this forums thing is just weird decisions unrelated to the engine itself.
RPG Maker forums are being shutdown, no plans for even keeping them in read-only, priceless information/help that has been accumulating over years will be gone. "Want it? just make a backup".

@nprofile1q... don't surrender your knowledge to the tools even if you find yourself in a position where you have to use them in some work position requirement, make sure to also learn the steps, the experience might be the difference later on.
Developers in early career stages are being hit hard since AI launched, juniors always had it rough but this made it worse. I imagine mid-career and seniors might not be hit as hard yet because they are still able to spot/fix issues with AI output faster.
