A solo programmer + external contractors to make art/sound etc is not a “solo dev”. Solo programmer sounds a bit more accurate.
Last month I got offered the Dungeon Crawler Carl book as a birthday gift, I finished and liked it so much that I just picked up the 2nd one. Overall a “page turner”. If this one turns out as good the next time I’ll just buy the rest of the collection. 📖

So sorry for everyone working on Monument Valley with a boss like this. Apparently wanting job security is a “romantic idea”, I know the industry is rough and lowering costs is a struggle but this is so dumb to say.

@nprofile1q... yeah I’m more worried about compatibility since this means the program will be locked into Unity and dependent on that company direction. OG ZSNES codebase is likely still buildable today with minimal issues
ZSNES coming back with a GPU based rendered was not something I was expecting, but I'm more confused to why they went with Unity (yes that engine) for this. @nprofile1q... yup, and re-flashing. Unfortunately it's not the first one I kill, my Wii U one had to go for repairs 2 months before my tentative release date xD
