2 years ago I wrote out a 12 page onboarding checklist because my college HR's materials involved a couple of very inadequate documents including a map of only one of our five library locations.

That's paying off today as I prepare to onboard another person in another unit.

I've been trying to get an answer from Figshare about an issue we're having. I've asked for a synchronous meeting so I can explain the issue in five minutes rather than spending 45 minutes doing a screen capture that I then have to edit and voice over to explain the same issue.

Today I got a message telling me that "support can't schedule meetings with customers" and I should meet with my account manager

Notably... they have not informed my account manager.

I need a data librarian looking for a paper topic to do me a solid and write a scoping review of how many publications did an inventory of web services offered by academic libraries at R1 institutions.

Because I think we're up to like 7 of them now -- at least one of which is mine with @nprofile1q...

There's also the one by Ayoung Yoon at IU, Clara's might include some of this material, there was one in JESLIB a couple years ago and I feel like I saw another one in the past two weeks.
