It‘s true if you like to use nostr as social media substitute you will end up with around 50-100 users. The real power of nostr is data sovereignty 🏴‍☠️🦡

In the interest of transparency, I am no longer sponsored by Blockstream Jade

It’s still a fabulous hardware device - my friends use it 😉

I will continue to maintain an affiliate/ discount code “cheersjoe”

Right. Time to update my website!

Primal doesn't show YouTube videos since several month. They've replied in June that they're aware and a fix will be applied. But maybe you need to inform them again [email protected] . Meanwhile use yakihonne, it always works fine there.

Joe... the whole nostr is not only Primal crap... Please stop considering nostr a single thing that rely on Primal like twatter. Nostr is far beyond more than just that. As a general rule, just put a line break between text / title and a link of image/video.

It looks like this might be tied to the browser engine... it works for me on Blink (Chrome), but breaks on Safari’s WebKit. If you're seeing this on iOS, a quick fix is clearing the cache: Head to Settings > Safari > Advanced > Website Data. Search for youtube and swipe to delete. Once you rel...

LLMs know too much about me

Prompt:
Based on what you know about me and my interests, create a set of 8 hyper real illustrated enamel pins in a 4x5 image. 1 medium pin is a portrait of me, 1 small pin is a word that describes me, 1 small pin is my name. The style is bold, flat, bright colors, eye catching. If you don’t know enough about me yet, pull cues from the photo.

What looks like memory is usually inference. That prompt gave the model no history of you: it read the photo and your own words about your interests and guessed the rest. Personalization only becomes real once an app starts storing that profile on its side, and then the question is who holds it.
