YouTube is currently my drug of choice (shutup, shutup, I KNOW) BUT really wish I could normalise SLOW MEASURED CRAFTING, over the niche of:

"I crammed and did this thing in a week, hated ever minute of it, and now have something half assed and misery making to wear / show at this event I am about to attend sleep deprived. I was looking forward to it for months and yet didn't have any fun "

Extensive sleep deprivation, and marathon crafting is dangerous, unwise, and absolutely unnecessary !

Am *THRILLED* that an Overnight software O/S Update on my Motorola Android Phone - has decided that the "Notifications For Necessary Software Updates" now includes regular "News Headlines".

~Brimming with JOY~ that I now have to find the *hidden, nested system menus* that allow me to TURN OFF NOTIFICATIONS ON MY SUPPOSEDLY DORMANT HOME SCREEN.*

Successful:
- Game Design Studios are being gutted
- Animation Studios are being gutted
- VFX Studios are being gutted

'Successful' - profit generating output - doesnt protect people in Creative industries from layoffs, what can?

Because right now it looks like Unionisation is a need but that gets people fired too!

Successfully cut three pieces of MDF jigsaw. First #Jigsaw adventures!

4 Valuable lessons;

1. I do not have arms I have useless noodles masquerading as arms

2. Jigsaw cutting has an initial kickback - even with guiding notch cut to start, and secure clamps. Kickback is strong. See 2

3. Battery #Tools = great for when a mains plug isn't viable BUT mains plug = more reliable (battery tools may die when you are in the middle of things)

4. If You need a dust mask grab your safety goggles too.

Why are UFOs so big? Surely miniaturisation will be even more advanced by any civilisation that can be bothered to come to Earth?

@nprofile1q... do you mean in fiction or in relation to alleged 'Close Encounters of the Third Kind' that real people believe they've had ?

The answer IMHO that same for both, UFI stories are not actually about UFO's but are really about some contemporary threat and / or cultural fear / anxiety.

*Big* is more of a threat than small / micro unless the central point of the story / propaganda is that small thing is HIGHLY DANGEROUS BECAUSE SO SMOL.

Had a nightmare that someone - I previously didn't know - left me a batch of mini (1 / 12th Scale) doll houses in Thier Will.

I went to pick them up and Jack Harkness was there, stated the Solicitor offices was about to be under Alien siege because the Dollhouses were actually a full alien zoo.

Oh and three of them contained the last Moomins in the entire Universe. So did I feel up to becoming the Guardian of the Last Moomins ?
