I want to follow back more people who:

👉 Build in public
👉 Think in code
👉 Experiment with AI

If that’s you - say hi! 👋

I observe how the Nostr network and its users are hyper-focused on Bitcoin, ignoring many existing solutions that operate on concepts we already know: P2P, decentralization, anti-censorship, etc.

We need a community that is closer to technology in general and less focused on one of its components.

Follow me down the rabbit hole

"Microsoft is moving GitHub into its CoreAI team, following the resignation of GitHub CEO Thomas Dohmke today." Might be a good time to go hard on git + nostr + wot. https://www.theverge.com/news/7...

Frens, haven't you heard of Radicle yet?

Radicle is an open-source, peer-to-peer collaboration stack based on Git. Unlike centralized code hosting platforms, there is no single entity controlling the network. Repositories are replicated between peers in a decentralized manner, and users have complete control over their data and workflow.

Sounds familiar, right?

Local first → Files Over App → Never on a Server

I posted about a couple of months ago, in fact. Promising.

Learning to develop for the Nostr ecosystem. Very basic, but it's a start.

> Allows you to connect to Nostr via an extension such as Nostr Connect
> Allows you to connect with the nsec key
> Shows user data: avatar and npub.
> Original design + Flexoki colour scheme

What was false about what I said?

You do not mention the laws that protected the indigenous people nor the provisions of mestizaje established by Queen Isabel I of Castile. (Laws of the Indies and Laws of Burgos). Instead, you claim that Spain acted wrongly, demonstrating that you are influenced and biased by Anglo-Saxon propaganda that has shaped your perception through its audiovisual productions (Hollywood).

On the Spanish Inquisition: One of the worst things about Spain is bureaucracy, but thanks to it, we can review the data of the Spanish Inquisition.

The truth : Between 1540 and 1700, approximately 1,600 to 1,700 people were sentenced to death out of a total of 45,000 processed, which represents around 3%.

The negative image of the Spanish Inquisition (omitting and covering up the events of other European inquisitions) was spread by Romanticism from the second half of the 18th century.

And I add: You only need to observe the empirical evidence on the quantity of native Americans and mestizos in the Hispanic territories in comparison with the Anglo-Saxons; it is not necessary to resort to statistics; it is enough to use observation and analyze phenotypes.

You said “heroic”. This narrative that somehow spaniards were heroes because they’re way of killing didn’t involve ripping hearts out is trite and historically false. Laughable that they look ...
human profile picture
The false thing is your narrative. You are repeating the story told by the enemies of Spain; mainly England and France. What the Spaniards did was historic: discovery of a new continent, they empirically demonstrated that the earth is spherical, they connected the old world with the new world. Hence, the motto "Plus Ultra" (and beyond) of Spain.

No, I didn't dismiss it. The meme is about the battle for tenochtitlan, not about everything the Spanish did in Latin America.
human profile picture
Latin America? Tell me, tell me when the Roman Empire arrived in America? The great feat of the discovery of a new world (literally) was that of the Spanish Empire, that's why Spanish is spoken in America and they pray to a Christian God (among many other things). It is called Hispanic America, and they are Hispanic speakers.
