I believe it. Knowing this place, the door codes probably haven’t changed since I set them years ago. Unfortunately, I think most of these codes are only changed after a security breach.

I left a company in 2020. Today, I received a text from someone I used to work with asking for a verification code because they were trying to access an account.

Except the person texting me hasn’t worked there in years either. 😂 Apparently, they’re on their 3rd or 4th person in charge since I left.

I have no idea who works there anymore, but somehow my phone number still holds the keys to the kingdom.

Once I left extremely detailed instructions on how to do something very specific, and of course the person they hired after I got laid off didn’t bother to read it, and did it their own way and completely fucked it up, and then I got the email ask...
