One thing that bothered me is how difficult Start9 has made it to switch from Knots back to Core. The UI displays a bunch of warnings that make it seem like everything will break if you switch.

As you’ve pointed out, they stopped posting on Nostr around the same time as the BIP 110 push. They used to be active and helpful when users faced issues like this. Nowadays, not so much.

I actually experienced this myself after switching back to Core and trying to get Datum Gateway working:

I might be trying something stupid, but is there any reason I can't run Datum Gateway with Bitcoin Core? I'm using nostr:nprofile1qqs9df4h2deu3aae83fmet5xmrlm4w5l9gdnsy3q2n7dklem7ezmwfc6c32nl and switched from Knots back to Core. Datum gives a warning, “Config not satisfied. D Show more
