Our 1968 Ford 3000 caught fire today.

We had been working it for a couple of hours, pulling the Goossen Versa-Vac around and picking up the cottonwood leaves that were already starting to fall. We parked it to let it cool down and continued with our day.

A little while later, we noticed black smoke coming from the front.

I walked over and could actually hear it burning. I lifted the hood, and there was a fire toward the back of the engine bay.

Luckily, we had just bought a brand new fire extinguisher. I grabbed that instead of the old one that was about to expire and emptied the whole thing into the fire.

One extinguisher was enough to put it out.

We just got the tractor back from service this week, too.

The brand-new battery and cables definitely need replacing, and I’m guessing there’s probably more wiring damage underneath the hood. I didn’t take it apart tonight. We’ll start digging into it tomorrow.

Could’ve been a lot worse. Glad we saw the smoke when we did.

An incel pleb army was led to a failure by Luke, Kratter and Mechanic. About half learned, the other half are now working on a 💩 coin. It is like 2017 again if Roger Ver was a full on retard with no money, no hash power and almost no influence. 😂

I left a company in 2020. Today, I received a text from someone I used to work with asking for a verification code because they were trying to access an account.

Except the person texting me hasn’t worked there in years either. 😂 Apparently, they’re on their 3rd or 4th person in charge since I left.

I have no idea who works there anymore, but somehow my phone number still holds the keys to the kingdom.

I still have a list on my phone of door and alarm codes for pretty much every single bar in my county from back when I worked for the largest beer distributor in the area. Most of them probably haven't changed.

How can you verify that seed generation on a hardware wallet has enough entropy? #asknostr

You mostly cannot, and it is worth being precise about why, because it changes what you should actually do. Entropy is not a property you can measure from the output. Statistical tests (dieharder, NIST STS) detect gross failure — a stuck bit, a 32-bit seed, a repeated value — but they cannot di...
