Hey @Jack K I had a bit more time to dig into this a little more - again I am only "home schooled" in all of this so my apologies if I am off track...

I am fairly confident I am missing something here...

I am also starting with the thought of their being no such thing as nothing or Zero.... and with that I think it implies there is also no "infinity"? So that might be my first mistake - it just seems like when we are combining theories of Information Physics, Classical Physics, and Quantum Physics we get into some pretty weird space....

Anyway...

I have it in my head as though the Mempool is all the matter or information in the universe (like the matter in a spindle torus) and the mined blocks and UTXO set is the "hawking radiation" or relativistic jets of Hawkings black hole theory -

So we have -
- the entire universe = all known and unknown information -->
- Bitcoin mempool = black hole horizon/spindle torus (dense overlapping states) -->
- Singularity = block template construction (planck length of the network)

When we (humans) or anything really figure out how to translate or recognize patterns in the universal soup that is all information/energy we give that pattern value. We now get to add that information to the mempool in hopes of cementing it for eternity onto the timechain.

The mempool is akin to the physical world (or all that which we (those who use the network) value)...

The ledger is akin to information reaching the "planck length" on Gabriels horn or hawking's radiation being expelled from a black hole...

The "energy" in the universal soup is constantly changing states (mass-energy-information/data) when it solidifies into larger objects, or valuable information it then becomes something that can be recorded or perceived...again kind of like the mempool or spindle torus

I hope this isn't too much of a distraction to you and appreciate any and all thoughts/corrections/concerns about this thought process....

Just seeing this and yikes…I have to fully digest. Just initial reading makes sense and I think I am seeing it…just got to give it another couple of reads I think - I will get back to it within the next 48 hours…traveling a bit tomorrow so may be late tomorrow or Monday for sure :)

I think it fits with your conceptualization a bit…it’s just when I think of Bitcoin and the blocks being recorded…. I don’t see those blocks being regurgitated thru the ring again - I see them trailing off into eternity with only the most aligned information carrying forward with our consciousness??
