I mean - im sure you can imagine what hollywood SFX *could* have been used. My guess is a mix of SF techniques: cropping, matte painting combined with real photos and, layering and lighting.
"2001: A Space Odyssey" is from 1968 and also have photorealistic space footage. The SFX techniques where clearly there to create the photo.
I mean if you believe the official narrative i guess its hard to believe the photo is faked. If you look into the moon landing narrative i believe it is "building 7" bad. The government lies about everything, so why believe the moon landing stuff?
