No joke, telling a bitcoiner that the supply cap is a fatal flaw is blasphemy, they immediately think youre a Keynesian that wants infinite money and is going to make some argument about divisibility or something. If youre lucky you may even get a dishonest person calling you a big blocker.

Price is a signal. Purchasing power matters. To ignore that is to ignore the fundamental purpose of Bitcoin. Bitcoin has more purchasing power than BCH and more security and more adoption. It won.

The game isn't over yet. It never is. There is no end state of victory.

Besides that, think of strategic voting. People pick which fork to support not entirely based on technical merit, but because they dont want to lose their capital and so based on what they expect the majority to pick. Its self fulfilling, its network effects in contentious situations where decisions have real world consequences. Most people expected the established network to win, so they helped ot win, feedback loops and all that. It does not mean that 1) people preferred it technically, or 2) that merit won't win out eventually.

I'll look into it. Right now their VVV shitcoin is 3.80, which means $380 bucks I have to basically guarantee I lose as the price inevitably slides to pennies. Then, of course, the service will disappear. Or, I could just pay for use, which leaves me out only what ive used. I'll see if the subscription is worth it.

And using nostr for coordination with a simple script and throwing away the keys makes the model inference cheaper and more readable to avoid task collisions because the meta prompt logic can be much smaller and easier to reason about.
