Crap! I've read almost all of her books, but according to Goodreads, I'd read none of them. I thought I'd have to purchase this audiobook, but Everand has most of her works available at the end of the week, so I've saved that, and Close Range, which I think I read way back when. I'll certainly enjoy it again when I get to it!

Annie Proulx's writing is SO amazing!! Have you read her Wyoming book? Her sense of place is better than almost anyone's.

Ooh, I minly watch dramas, but there is just something about watching 김우빈 having the time of his life. I would up starting a "weekender", which I don't highly recommend, but it's interesting to study in its weird way. I'm mildly fascnated by all of the weird tops they've made the FLs wear, featunring white fabric and strange collar choices. #TheRealHasCome for anyone who cares to know. If you like old school #kdrama, you might actually like it!

That's a very pretty skirt! I won't sew with any of the fabrics that slip around easily! If you saw my wardrobe, you'd see that I'm not very adventurous. I like simple styles and fabrics, and I just keep sewing the same patterns again and again. At least that way, I get my money's worth out of the patterns!

#sewing is all about practice, but it's quite delightful when we get it right! Jalie has lots of dancewear patterns, and I see a swimsuit pattern that is the type I prefer (racerback). Because they use a small amount of fabric, I'm tempted to play around with swimwear. If they come out wonky, the chlorine, saltwater, and sun will kill a swimsuit pretty quickly anyway. I took a swimwear class recently and signed up for a sports bra class (which includes the pattern and fabric).

Even though it feels like I sew quite slowly, it seems like I can sew more items than I actually need! I'm on a side quest to sew swimwear and underwear at the moment, so that may keep me away from acquiring too many new fabrics. I've lost weight, so I need to see what my new fit is, but in the meantime, I can continue wearing what I've previously made. There are a few makes that I'm about to thank for their service and thrift. Made with thrifted fabrics!

I love the effect, and I'd certainly invest if I had the money and space for it. I'm just really happy that my sewing has progressed to a point where I'm wearing an almost entirely #MeMade wardrobe. I'm trying to be careful about not buying more than I need, with only limited success. But, I never really enter shopping malls or clothing stores, so that's a win!

I definitely do not want to buy additional machines for sewing, but I've always preferred those sorts of bound necklines and armholes! At least my ribbing finishes look less wonky these days.

It doesn't magnify, but I love my OTT lights, and I have 3 around my place for any sort of close work.
