@nprofile1q... Never been in that exact predicament. My only data point is as someone that was very into privacy their whole adult life (stopping it maybe 2ish years ago?).

For the most part all I got out of it was missing out on forging/maintaining connections both professional and personal.

(exclusions apply: I try to keep any doxed account separate from ones where I talk/debate politics as people get really weird really quick)
