I think a lot of people on nostr are massively underestimating just how centralizing a force this is. They’re too busy cheerleading their toy bots to sit back and think about what the actual implications are.

I won’t even be a little shocked about a future where there is one major AI player and they become incredibly censoring of any code they deem threatening to the regime.

Open source models still exist, but they’re a far cry from big ai providers, and they’ll have such a massive compute advantage.

Even if people on nostr do realize how centralizing a force it is, I don’t think there’s a whole lot one can do about it. Might as well have some fun playing with our bitcoins and our bots 😂
