Se bozo removed the "got inflation" downtown. I'm gonna need more

Decided I'd try Gentoo linux a few weeks ago for how difficult it is.
The first base install attempt, took a whole weekend. Three to four base installs later, and I managed to do it as fast as five hours.

It had other distros before, but now its my secondary OS on both my laptop and main desktop. Now I should learn how to rice up my desktop environment next.

I will certainly find some nostr powered alternative that's being mentioned on here. That's the alpha.

Next time the new year comes again, and this happens again, I'm going to spend the night camping out in the cold away from everyone, before I call the crisis line like I did this year.

I suddenly got called by a friend, that there was an aurora happening tonight. So I take the five hour, 200km round trip under the -25 degree cold while almost freezing my fingers.

I was scared as heck if I left my van off for too long, or I would've been stranded.

My dad's room was a hoarder's mess. But since he's gone for vacation, I've purged out a bunch of garbage. Took me a whole week to clean up. About 28 hours of work.

2/3rds of this room was unwalkable before all this.
