That's true, though they're both European, and they don't have to implement it in their OS's right now. The exception is if, and only if, they're legally required to do it in their particular juris. Once that's done, then they implement.

Both use systemd. Systemd added something in regards to this. So unless they change which init they use, or tweak systemd themselves, it will be there. They dont have to add anything themselves when upstream components have it. And it matters not what country they are in. They systemd, thats the poi...

I’m running Mint. Fully encrypted hard drive. Am cypherpunk now. Shill me your best Linux apps/Nostr clients you like. I want to get a good NSEC bunker on there. Soon*(tm): migrate my passwords...

That's just the beginning, friend. Soon, you'll realize systemd rats you out, so you'll need to switch to something else that doesn't utilize systemd. However, Mint is unlikely to do digital ID, since that'd be in violation of Irish law as far as I'm aware.

I just use Primal on the web, and utilize Nos2X-Fox on Librewolf, the Firefox-based browser I use for this purpose.

And for your NordPass setup, you need to use something local-first like AliasVault (of which my editor, @Mugita Sokio, uses) or KeepassXC (of which I utilize).

When you say it rats you out, what do you mean? I have so many rabbit holes to go down, but if there are rat holes, I want to deal with those as well.

It looks like there could be a ton of bots following me.

Hey, @calle, since you maintain Following, is there a chance bots are scraping it? If so, that could explain why I have more followers that are potentially bots than actual homo sapiens (not HUMANS, for that's an acronym).

It might not be that simple. SystemD is playing along. So, any distro using it, which is most of em, can be affected. Dont matter where devs are from if they are using upstream components that sold out

Get rid of those that are not anonymous and "based somewhere". They misunderstood and mistreated the importance of anonymity years ago and won't help you. Good meaning, naive people are the main problem we got into the mess.
