@nprofile1q... @nprofile1q... Years back I thought ads were a fair enough trade for free info. If someone, or even a company, offers info for free, they should make a few bucks via ads. Then, as usual anymore, greed took over and we didn't become the advertised to, but the product. So, ad blockers are fair now.

Years back, we had two neighbors who often vacationed together. We didn't know Susie didn't go that time. Two weeks later her friend came home and called her, no answer, so knocked on door, no answer. So friend got the key from the HOA president and as soon as they opened the door, they knew.
The police and coroner opened all doors and windows while they worked, then asked president to close up before dark. She asked me to help her. Yeah. Worse than you can imagine. Everything in her place was permeated with that smell and had to be thrown out.

I've often thought that would be the case. If you've never smelled a decomposing body, it's a stench you can't disguise, nor ever forget. Horrid practice.

@nprofile1q... I've never had pain from them. The doc will exclaim that I have an ear infection and I didn't even know. I guess I'm lucky, I 'hear' they are painful.

He doesn't want it. He's always had larger boats and said mine was too small. When he went out with me on a test run after putting in a new impeller, and saw how quick she is, he said he loved my little boat. But they are taking about moving to mountains so I'd have to sell her or find another place to park her anyway. Time will tell what I decide.

She's on a trailer and I keep her in brother's back yard. Sometimes he takes her out, too.

Finances will be iffy. I got a roommate to help with finances, an old friend, but it turns out she's an alcoholic stoner and it wasn't working out. I have some plans and also family who wont let me fall. All in all, I'm fortunate, if a bit poor. I might have to sell my little boat, though. I do love my little boat.

Walk taken, met up with friends. There are a small group of of us who meet after our walks. We are known as the Bridge Trolls. Stopped by brother's for a short visit, hugs exchanged with him and his "wife". He's 66 and never married, but he finally met The One and we teasingly call her the wife. Came home, helped soon to be ex roommate pack a few things. Considering a wee nap now.
