Okay so now #Google is saying that we'll be able to sideload apps in #Android using something called #AdvancedFlow.
This makes me feel a lot better about using it moving forward, but now I do wonder...

I am currently running IodeOS on a Pixel6a. But I'll want to upgrade soon. ( I really want that mobile desktop mode you can only get on Pixel 8 or higher)
One of my challenges is that my work will need me to carry a stock Android because of their communication channels. But as I move away from field work to desk work, I may be able to abandon that.

Anyone else have this feeling that Internet as we know it is coming closer to an end? Like, all it would take is a bombing of a few data centers and it's all gone. Or the hacking of a few DNS registrars and all our domains start pointing to a different ip addresses?

Now that I've settled on Hubzilla as my weapon of choice when it comes to social media, I do feel like posting more often. That's good for me... Not sure if that's good for you. 🤪

We planned to head down to see some friends in Houston, Texas this week, but due to illness among our friend's family, we've had to postpone our trip.
Since we couldn't go, I ended up playing Euchre, a card game, with friend for 6 hours! It's not the warmth of the southern region, but fun nonetheless.
