@nprofile1q... oh, I wanted to mention a Home Assistant tweak I made for Enphase gear - I have whole house backup with 40kwh of battery, and normally let the batteries dip down to 30%.

Just a few days ago I realized there's a cloud coverage percentage weather metric available in HA. So now if the cloud coverage is greater than 50% I raise the battery reserve to 50%.

Now I have more emergency reserve for an outage if it's been low production cloudy for multiple days running.

@nprofile1q... no really, I only have 1U servers I'd put stuff in, which all already have the one pcie slot in use, and I have no switching gear that goes that fast.

New servers, new switches, fiber runs, I can drool with a wallet that still has cash in it, or I can cry into my empty wallet. ๐Ÿ˜ญ
