On September 30, a group of people launched the ArtCraft project to create open-source alternatives to Adobe’s entire software suite. Today is October 10, and all the key applications—including Photoshop, Illustrator, Lightroom, Premiere, and InDesign—are nearly fully functional, open-source and free.

A Photoshop installation takes up 8GB. The installer for PhotoCraft—which does the same thing but faster—is just 56MB. Adobe has 800 programmers and has been developing Photoshop for over 30 years. Yet, a small team has just caught up in less than 14 days.

The same thing is happening to Microsoft office (Wordcraft, Gridcraft…) and other big software corps will follow. 👀

They use their own caching service instead of using true relays

You can use the Custom endpoint, I rather not adding another provider because of maintenance.
