@Phobos @Wrest I would say plain "useless" instead but that's because I don't intend to pretend you have to pay to see a movie, or that there's some cost associated with not seeing one. I think these are some core assertions for popular movie critique as we know it and the reason for much of the mismatch between those and opinions on the ground today. they're pretty much only serving other critics and wannabes
