A lot can be done for hard assets!

Ok I admit STRC and SATA are wayyy more volatile than I thought they would ever be.

But in my defense 90% of the people posting about it last month didn't know how bond yields work, so I figured they were all idiots.

Turns out I am the idiot!

Lol I bought 0.0032 BTC but it wasn't a joke, I was serious

maybe because you really need a whole cohesive vision of the architecture that evolves together over time

That's a good point, and I think with abstractions layered on abstractions, the real practical experience probably does make a difference. I'm not gonna be mad at the next generation of software prompters, just like the assembly programmers weren't mad at me for writing PHP and Python.

But there will always be something to be said of a real understanding vs just producing inputs and outputs.

I mean I hope so...my future employment probably depends on it 😅

ai coding killing the joy of coding is a real concern of mine. you have to use ai to be competitive productivity wise, yet this makes the act of building software less fun for people who actually enjo...

I think that's true, but probably was true for assembly languages and C to an extent right? I mean idk, the abstraction of coding made it accessible to retarded people, as I wouldn't have been able to be proficient in lower level languages.

Some engineering stuff will still be fun, but probably in a different way and to a new generation of slightly dumber people.

I find its still really bad at complex architecture like game engines
