@nprofile1q... Well if we disregard any speed constraints, I guess any x86 or ARM based PC made in the past 2 decades should have the capability to compile. You might regret having to sit around for 20 minutes to load a hello world though.
@nprofile1q... Might be fine if the most "gaming" you'll be doing is playing Half Life 2 at minimum settings, that is if a PC even shows up at your door instead of a brick.
What happened exactly?
@Dan tl;dr someone made a stupid comment about how using a game engine is woke, Godot's twitter account made a joke about it, some bigots started harassing Godot staff, and Godot ended up reactionary blocking people as a result. Now someone's trying to make "Redot" a thing, likely due to the drama.
Oh you gotta be fucking kidding me. You guys can't be that soft.
I'm fairly certain the Godot community has been fairly inclusive thus far, but it takes one joke and a slight bit of overzealous moderation in response to the backlash for a whole new fork with a new name, logo, socials, and website to appear already.
I doubt their incentive here is anything more than "non-woke godot" considering the timing.
