What is the umf in nostr? Instagram had the umf over facebook, so it became more popular.
I think nostr shall become really a protocol, and apps/solutions over nostr shall be introduced to people. Like https. Noone cares about it, but it is used for safe websites. People care about the webapps.
Maybe we need an umf over nostr to make it intriguing. I mean it is okay to copy other things/apps over nostr, but most people won't move because if nostr does not give anything over what they use already (seemingly interesting, let's call "umf"), then based on the least effort principle, people won't move.

Also this seems quite expensive. I also built such a site. There you can target nostr accounts by keyword.
1. You select nostr accounts by keyword search in their bio or in their post.
2. Zap them.
But I realized how fragile this is, and makes less sense from advertizing perspective as you cannot know if paid amount really worthed it or not.
So I came up with the #zapvertizing 2.0 model, that I am building now.

I am developing something in the back that solves this problem. But also have the feeling that we don't have enough audiance on nostr for it.
But at the end, my idea could be used elsewhere. It uses the idea of #zapvertizing but is not inherently connected to nostr. So it could also be used to trojan horse other platforms with zapvertizing.

And are you thinking about using a tool that simply sends a lightning transaction with a message to the selected users?
A good zapvertising would cost about 700k⚡️.
Has anyone ever tried that?
What makes it a "good" zapvertizing?
