I would love a feature in NOSTR that would allow me to pay a small monthly amount to access posts from specific accounts. Similar to subscribtions on X.

I like the value for value model for individual notes (zapping), but I don’t think it translates well for accounts that summarize events such as @FLASH or @Bitcoin Archive . The proof-of-work done by these accounts isn’t reflected by any single note necessarily, but with the aggregation of the content over time.

I believe implementing such a feature would incentivize more people from switching from X to NOSTR.

Is this being worked on, or is it even doable within NOSTR ?

Something along the lines of “if you make hardware wallet UX too easy, people will not grasp the importance of self-custody”

It was using a Coldcard for the first time that I realized that this was serious business.

Make it too seamless and people won’t differentiate between self-custody and holding their wealth in an exchange wallet.
