Good morning to everyone except #WSocial people who are forcing me to work on a Sunday.

New article about their latest scandal coming soon (tomorrow or Tue morning at the latest). There is SO MUCH more to unpack that hasn't been revealed yet - and I've got plenty of evidence to share.

The W Social people had a meltdown about this yesterday on the Atmosphere, asking critics "who is funding you?"

This reporting is entirely self-funded, with childcare help from my in-laws and my husband 💁‍♀️

Dear Fedi friends,

My heart is full after spending two inspiring days in Luxembourg at #OSCL26.

I'd love to thank @nprofile1q... for giving me and @nprofile1q... the fantastic opportunity to co-organize the "decentralized technologies for digital sovereignty" track. It was an incredible experience.

And HUGE thanks to all our phenomenal speakers: @nprofile1q...
@nprofile1q...
@nprofile1q...
@ivan of @Bonfire
@nprofile1q... @nprofile1q... @nprofile1q...
plus Fabrice, Bartosz, Penar and Rafael.

This community is amazing ❤️

Hello from Belval, Luxembourg!

I heard that the server #theForkiverse may shut down soon. No surprise, its admins have stopped communicating on it MONTHS ago.

A moment of gratitude to the #Forkiverse for bringing 10k new people to the Fediverse... and with 750+ sticking around 🥳

(Please backup your account and move to a new server ASAP)

I'm especially grateful for @nprofile1q... who tried out the Forkiverse, loved it so much that he brought the place where he works - the National Gallery of Denmark! - on the Fediverse: @nprofile1q... 🚀

I'm feeling IMMENSE gratitude towards you, the people of the Fediverse, today and every day.

Thank you for caring about:

💜 privacy
❤️ alt text / accessibility
🧡 digital sovereignty / self-hosting
💛 the indie web
💚 human creativity
🩵 the environment

and also for:
💙 rebelling against Big Tech

Here I feel like I found a community of like-minded people... Thank you for making me feel part of a great mission.

#GratefulForYou

If you want to watch my #FediDay talk live tomorrow, I’m on at 12:00 🙈

Now on my way to Berlin. I can’t wait!

And next Saturday at @nprofile1q... I will share Fediverse stories from last year that inspired me…. Giving a big shout out to @nprofile1q... and his projects #FediMeteo and #LittleFedi.

#Fedinception 😆

Earlier this week I unsubscribed from #1Password and moved to #Bitwarden... due to their donation of 300k to DHH's #Omarchy.

I made sure to let them know about the reason, so that hopefully the company would notice those kind of decisions have an impact.

Day one I got messages from their AI system.

But today I got a response by a real human at 1Password (or so it appears).

If you are curious about the company's official response to the backlash, check out the screenshot (and/or #AltText)

Oh happy day! 🎊

To be fair, 166 billion dollars would have been fairer, but I'm ok with this too, over the usual joke of a fine.
