@Jonny Fever

Really happy for you, but my argument applies mainly to c-suite execs and other stupidly rich fucks who don't have to work, and their share of the tax burden is more than the drop in the bucket of a single guy that still goes to work for wages every day.

“A child with access to an app store...can potentially download any number of software applications, potentially agreeing to invasions of the child’s privacy and sale of the child’s data and be exposed to any conceivable content without parental consent or even parental knowledge”

So fucking legislate protection of people's privacy then, it's that simple!

Not a single user likes being bombarded with ads, the single justification given for the panopticon we inhabit. And the invasion of privacy for the pleasure of hyper-targeted ads is an assault that no one asked for. "Here, we spied on you to give you this thing you don't want."

I don't give a 💩 if your ad company loses money, in fact I hope it burns down and sinks into the swamp. 🖕

Even with corrective lenses? Lots of guys war wear glasses, and I've never had a vision test(for work) beyond a pre-employment physical. I guess that's to say: get your foot in the door.

The bigger concern is hearing; we get tested annually. Wear your ear plugs!

Dude I might as well kill myself this is getting fucking ridiculous. Everything I want to do I can't. https://mstdn.starnix.network/system/media_attachments/files/116/656/698/865/419/161/original/7b...

Dude, join the power engineers. There's good money in it. Your state might not even have license laws like mine. Given your proficiency with tech, you could even get into controls and not work the silly hours and make even more money.

PSA for anyone using #QEMU #KVM for #SingleGPUPassthrough
Guides are all over the net suggesting hooks scripts invoking pci devices, unloading/loading kernel modules, and other unnecessary things. Here's my current hook script for starting the VM:

systemctl stop display-manager

That's it. And the reverse for teardown:

systemctl start display-manager

#IOMMU groups still apply, and you need to pass the correct PCI devices to your VM, but everything else is handled automatically.

Disclaimer that this is how it works currently for my AMD card. I did have a working setup with my NVIDIA card that did unload/load kernel modules, however it seems things have come a long way since I set that up.
