Wallet of Satoshi has worked the best for me. Idk what I was doing wrong but absolutely nothing could make Strike work on Damus. Almost certainly user error on my part, but wish I could have figured it out since I’m a big fan of Strike and Jack Mallers

The most striking difference is that to "shadow ban" is not possible becuase there are hundreds of active relays, and lots of different clients to choose from. All you have to do is stop using the relay named nostr.fed.planted.relay.7
