Confirmation is as simple as an attestation, but some exchanges will want to over-comply and talk about white-listing your addresses, or requesting you to sign messages
Smarter exchanges will implement support for Silent Payments so they *and their customers* have less friction and improved privacy. Less friction because as a customer you only have to provide your SP address once, and every withdrawal comes into a discrete address in your wallet; that means ongoing use continues to validate your attestation.
