Now that #US trade sanctions will be lifted on #Iran as part of USA’s surrender deal #NZPol trade minister should immediately open trade talks between Iran and #Aotearoa #NewZealand to resume the very lucrative trade between the two countries.

For those who don’t know, at its peak, Iran was purchasing 1 of every 4 NZ lambs being exported, large volumes of NZ wool and was one of NZ’s top 5 trading customers. 🤔

Thanks for posting, was an interesting podcast.

As a graphic and brand designer I regularly respond to clients who tell me they’re cutting their marketing and advertising budget because the market is suffering a downturn that that’s a good reason to increase their budget.

Pleased to see that argument being endorsed by the economists in the video.

The same argument applies to government spending, during an economic downturn.

It’s historically proven critical for government spending and investment to increase during a recession to sustain growth, employment and economy.

Sadly this current coalition of morons have done the opposite which, imo, has multiplied the impact of this economic downturn.
