This is a huge topic.

Personally I'm trying to achieve digital sovereignty for couple of year. Now since the Bitcoin is starting to become more acceptable it is getting easier, but the problem still persist - The Internet.

Think of it this way. You are in Russia or Iran. And they just cut off the internet. Even if you have a StarLink you have to bring it all the way with you to the grocery store.

I truly believe that they have to make Bitcoin Lighting with offline support.

Think of it this way - you will get punished if you try to sync an old versions of the signed certificates on the network - so it is your fault and you will not do it because there is a newer version of the certificates in the people you transact.

Now imagine a wallet like Zeus to support offline certificate signing so you can go to the store spend and when you have internet you sync.

Unfortunately there is no solution for the double spending problem.

Until this is resolved I think Bitcoin will drag its feet to success, but once this is resolved than this would be 100% sovereign money.

Let me get this straight.

If a person earns 2m per year, tax cuts are ~ 50k - 150k in tax savings.
If a person earns up to 200k per year not even he does not have a tax cut, but he has to pay ~15k for day care per year.

The rich pay for daycare with the saved government taxes, and the middle class pay taxes and child care.

Do you think that's right?

Sounds like you don't remember the companies that handled space launches before SpaceX. The company isn't exactly having a problem, it's just reached the stage of the game where the goal is to be incompetent and steal money from taxpayers, not to do impressive shit that builds reputation.
