this drones make very distinct noise like motorbike, everyone in ukraine knows this sound. so I'm sure there was enough time to prepare phone and probably that was not the first drone.

totally unrelated but I suddenly remembered - around 2012-13 there was interview of Voinovich, russian writer and dissident, and he said that he was very surprised that soviet union collapsed without blood and that russia let ukraine go. because russia without ukraine is a lame horse. later I understood how right he was

war in Ukraine is very simple in its reasons. It is war for independence, like many country had in the past. when country broke its links with empire. but because we live in the world overloaded with propaganda from every side very very few can see clean picture and not be confused or fogged by emotions.

not really. almost no one react to my posts and there are others like me. more than half of people whom I originally followed are gone now. Sometime around 2024, some people I found interesting came here. Within six months, they were gone. There are probably many reasons for this, but one of them is that the people here form a very narrow ideological group. And if you don’t fit in, there’s no one to talk to.
