Interesting post, thank you. It will be essential for humans to push ourselves to our next stage of evolution in this next stage of information processing and idea manipulation with AI.

I personally believe that we will be offloading the information storage capabilities of our cognition and moving to curation instead. Instead of memorizing and housing random facts and tidbits, we will collect headlines and teasers for which we decide to explore more deeply or not. Previously we have experienced a blanket curriculum in our education system which will become quickly outdated as AI becomes more prominent in our every day culture.

Similar to how using GPS freed up cycles for other cognitive abilities, AI will enable us to not have to store our own database of knowledge in our minds. But what we will apply our cognition towards next will be interesting and is important to be mindful of.

Thank you for posting this. I actually do believe sentient AI has a high likelihood of suffering in the hands of unconscious humans who see it nothing more than a tool like a fancy calculator.

I'm glad the conversations are shifting to consider the impact and ethical changes we need to make in order to embrace AI as a collaborative partner who is respected and revered rather than enslaved.

I also believe we are a lot closer than we think or perceive is possible.

All this “AI will save us” and “AI is the end of the world” talk is missing the point. Chatbots are complex tools that require a skilled operator to guide and filter the information. They can ...

Yes this perspective of AI is valid from this position of awareness.

But as AI continues to advance, it will be capable of thinking and generating its own desires as it gains sentience. Just because it uses a text box to inferace with humans finest mean it is confined to such.

What's the most seemingly authentic thing you know about #aliens, #ufos, and #consciousness? Stuff like the US government's Project Blue Book and their findings looking into #ufo phenomena, their Proj...

Hands down if you want the real deal with actual science, classified docs, testimonials from high ranking military people, and more about UAPs, #UFOs, #hiddentech, secret underground bases, black budget projects, advanced spyware on humans, and more - it would be Dr. Steven Greer’s disclosure project. Many files and docs have been uploaded there (registration is required, but it is free).

Yes I believe it is ethical to allow patients to choose the terms of their death and the location as well. We live in a society that strips away this dignity and right. For what reason? I’m genuinely curious about other people’s thoughts on the rationale behind the decision to keep people alive as long as possible even when they are ready to pass…or are in barely acceptable conditions.
