Where does your electricity come from?! If it comes from lightning directly in yo your house (no intermediary, no effort from anyone else in between) then I understand she you're pissed about paying for it...
If you had a tube connected to your house that brings specially purified and pressure balanced air from a "air provider" to your house then yes you should pay for that service
