I find it wild and hilarious how so many people on nostr mock facebook and truly believe they have discovered something different, special, and "worthy". Literally the only differences are no post babysitters to put you in time out and different generational vibes. Generating a keypair doesn’t make you less of a fuck‑tard cosplaying moral superiority while whoring for zaps.

In the world today, the "right" to openly dissent with your government is, unfortunately, a privilege in practice.

If you have that privilege, use your 🌽 , your 📢 , and your ✊ if you must.

If you use only your complacence, your privileges will erode away.

It's wild how non-tech people who aren't quite sure what's possible will find out that you are being surveilled and psyopped and not hesitate to support and help you however they can.

Tech people who know it's possible and should know it's happening instead are like, "are you sure you're not just experiencing a shared paranoid hallucination with others that warrants medication?"

Sometimes when I've dropped the kids off and the car radio is failing me, I like to try and remember the words to American Pie and sing like someone I dislike immensely is listening....

My kids have always struggled with swimming and they just… keep getting back in anyway, lap after tears after lap. They complain and ache and freeze - and when I told them they can skip this season since they do know how to swim now they said... Nope.

First meet last night and three coaches came to me separately to tell me “this is their summer,” and they crushed it. I've always believed endurance > speed in basically everything that matters, and they are putting in the effort.

Watching my kids win at life is honestly the best gift ever.
