It’s sappy to say, but I think every iteration of Pinocchio and Lamp/Candlewick had to fallen in love. It’s doomed to the point where one won’t live long enough to truly be together for long. Repeating the same narrative until one breaks it. Only then could they truly have their happy ending.

Need to at some shift Ollie's perspective back when he was poor and lil more rougher around the edges. I haven't drawn that part of him nearly as much.
