Its home away from home, almost ready for the open road. My front porch can be anywhere I want it to be.

Got a conversion van. Got a black PVC pipe shower on the van. Got an awning on the side of the van. Got a nice roof rack on it. Got a portable AC so it can be a "spare room" when parked at home or in someone's driveway, of course when out on the road there will be no AC. I have a folding table, a camping stove and propane adapter hoses so I can use big tanks. I have a pop up shower/crapper tent, need to put together a DIY composting toilet. Once thats put together which won't be long, I'll be ready to take my family out on the road.

I probably should've documented progress on this and posted it, but I don't usually think of social media when doing things. I'll post pictures when I'm close to finished.

I'm also overhauling some electronics, this thing is from the 90s. It has 2 car stereos in it with tape decks, replacing that with 1 aftermarket that has a rear view camera, running some AV cable and speaker wire, and replacing some lights with LEDs.

The kiddo started school today!

broke my fucking foot. that's no fun. lifes good otherwise. gotta have a positive temperament and still enjoy the good things even when times are tough. I'm fortunate to not have problems that send people into dispair, so I try to keep perspective.
