nostr:nprofile1qqsqscg5f3m9aggw8xjggua9r0hxqjyxux9t6rurrnz76aj3u69petcsnx825 247 days in a row of writing it down is a real streak, the line about repair is the keeper.

Yea it’s different. Ion like how it changed my @ name from the Nostr to YK but I guess I’ll figure out how to change it later. Just started using it yesterday

Frugality (Taoist)

One of Lao Tzu's three treasures is frugality—not meanness, but a refusal to waste the world. Gratitude is the inner side of frugality. We use less because we taste more. A simple meal, mended clothes, a walk instead of a purchase: these can be thank-yous to the earth. Excess often comes from not having paused to receive what we already hold. Enough is a Taoist feast.

"I have three treasures which I hold and keep: compassion, frugality, and not daring to be first."
— Tao Te Ching, ch. 67

Noble Silence (Buddhist)

Sometimes the most generous speech is none. Noble silence is not sulking. It is a fast from unnecessary noise so the mind can settle. Gratitude grows in the quiet because we can finally hear the rain, the kettle, our own breath. We thank the pause. In a culture of constant commentary, silence can be dana—we stop adding to the pile. Then, when we speak, the words may be fewer and truer.

"Better than a thousand hollow words is one word that brings peace."
— Vinaya, vassa practice

Hey @Seth feature request for Grateful Space: if I break my streak, give me a shot to recover it, in a form you say it's best: a comment, share, zap, etc. whatever form it takes. Yesterday I lost my streak and...fine by me. Some people, however, are writing because of the streak.

To consider.
