I think no one can win this “war” since China is the largest EEUU debt holder and has a pretty serious amount of dollars as well.

They can break things. This can be ugly.

In my specific case, I heard the CEO of ledger in an interview about the ledger recovery feature say “we always could extract your seed from your device”.

That was it for me. Know they can but they won’t is not enough for my life savings.

Yesterday I moved my last standing sats on my ledger to a new wallet, generated with Trezor. I can sleep now. Having to trust ledger was one of my earliest mistake and I had carried it on for years.

I had already been accumulating in other wallets. As a family we have trezor jade and ledger but I didn’t had the determination to ban ledger from my life.

But, ledger NOT ANY MORE. Go fuck yourself with your ledger stealing seed service. Go fuck yourself with your monthly “update” to your shitty surveillance app.

Only open source now.

Keep it as a spare to recover backups and experiment. Should be able to connect to Sparrow wallet, no? Don't worry, it won't remain functional too long. Ledgers never did.
