Since when economically literate people fall into Luddite mode ? I can’t argue against the surveillance vs freedoms techs, but on which rational basis are you fearing job loss due to productivity enhancing tools ? It doesn’t work like this so what’s different here with AI ?

Honestly they opened source their solution, 150 USD in nothing some big relays operators can't afford by joining their efforts and sharing the costs, especially if they make it available for a small fee like 1 USD a month.

If nostr become a thing one day maybe some people will be ready to pay for it when kicked out of other caching service.

Ideally Primal could allow his app to still work in "degraded mode" without any caching service though.

there are not. it's expensive to run. i looked into running one a little over a year ago and it would cost about $120 a month to run one on a VPS.

- did you really banned this guy ?
- if yes, why did you do it was it really because of Pubky posts which I really doubt it’s the case tbh
- and out of curiosity how did you do it, was it by censoring the access to your caching server ? If yes can’t the app still work without this caching thing ?
- are there other known caching services we can use through primal app in case somebody is banned from yours for some reason

I've been lurking on nostr recently on mobile mostly through @Amethyst , but I'm just figuring out that web browser clients are working better than ever and are actively really decent !

Really Bullish, @Iris @YakiHonne @primal bring good UX, associated with nostr wallet connect, Cashu, and WebLn or even custodians, make it easier than ever to set up a LN wallet. That's awesome, nostr is more alive than ever.
